First American Edition, First Printing. In Very Good condition, in a Good+ dust jacket. Clean text, though pages show light signs of use and age, with a few age-related spots and some light thumbing.

Bookplate from previous owner at verso of front free end paper, causing waviness and wear to end paper and half title page. Cloth shows light rubbing at corners, spine ends and to gilt. Two-inch vertical bubble to cloth at about center right edge of front board.
