1927 1ST EDITION of NOW WE ARE SIX. The book is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing, published in 1927. It is bound in red cloth with gilt illustration to the front and rear, and gilt title to the spine. The cloth is quite clean with the usual bumping to the corners and edges.

Slight lean and fading to the spine, as with most of these editions. There is also a bit of cracking to the spine with spine mesh visible on some pages, however, all pages are still firmly attached. The illustrated endpapers are quite bright and clean.

Some tanning to the Half Title page and the rear page with the printer's details (very common with all of these 1st Editions). All pages are fairly clean, some have grubby marks and there is a chip taken out of page 14 (see picture). A child has coloured in Christopher Robin's dressing gown in very light blue pencil on page 14 as well, and coloured in his jacket and 2 chairs in faint red pencil on page 17, both illustrations are pictured above and can be seen when looking closely, otherwise not really noticeable to be fair, but should be pointed out.

Pages are gilt edged to the top. There are no personal inscriptions or bookplates. All in all the book is in good condition for the age.
