IT NEEDS AN AC ADAPTER but tested with a different adapter and is working as seen in picture. The star has a chip in the base that goes onto the tree. A playful and colorful, lighted Christmas tree figure being decorated by all of the characters from the Winnie the Pooh stories. Made by the Danbury Mint. I cannot determine the year in which it was made. The finely detailed tree is covered with patches of glittery white snow upon which sit various presents that Christopher Robin is handing to Winnie to place there. Piglet and Roo are hanging much smaller ornaments throughout the tree while Eeyore, Kanga, Rabbit, and Tigger try to hang strings of Christmas lights. Owl is checking over a gift list one last time. This delightful, rare item is a little over 12 inches tall and is about 9 inches wide at its widest point. IT NEEDS AN AC ADAPTER AC that plugs in to the back of the tree trunk and powers many small, yellow LED lights scattered all over the tree.
