Very good condition, green covers with gilt decoration and titles, spine titles faded, edge and corner wear and some minimal loss, faint marks on back cover, pages clean added color applique of bear with honey on half title page livens up the otherwise black and white book. The decorations by iconic artist E.

Shepard illustrate this whimsical story. Very nice affordable copy of a very early example of an all time classic. Would make a great gift. "Eighth Edition" Inside this copy is in very good condition with only slight fading, and inscription on front endpaper dated 1934, cover has fading mainly to spine, slight staining front and back.

This copy of Now We are Six is full of Ernest Shepard's lovely illustrations throughout the text. WHEN WE WERE VERY YOUNG. Methuen, 1925 (December) Fifty-Ninth Edition Good condition, red covers with gilt titles, overall pages are generally in good condition with some expected wear and tear few with blotches, corners bent and small tears, spine case missing, one page loose but in place, former owner bookplate, slight loosening from spine but still holding tight.
