First Edition, First Impression (Methuen & Co, 1927). Gift inscription to half-title page; spine tips lightly bumped; rubbing to corners and spine tips. Original and unclipped dust jacket has some loss to spine tips and browning to spine panel; corners chipped with a closed tear to bottom edge of front panel and to top edge of rear panel.
