Methuen & Co, London - 1926. First Edition / First Printing. Published in 1926, this delightful book is in excellent condition for its age, all original and presenting well. A delight for the collector and worthy of it's place in any collection.

Book Info : Winnie The Pooh, Methuen, London 1926: First Edition / First Printing. The book is bound in the original green cloth covers with bright gilt titles and decorations. This is an exceptional example that presents really well. Tight binding & generally clean and bright throughout. Internally, there is a small inscription which reads "Bertie from your Ninon".

The book has beige end papers as called for which can only be found on the First Edition, all later prints had green ones. The book correctly shows one date of 1926 to the verso of the title page again showing this to be the true First Edition.

Beautifully illustrated throughout by E H Shepard. A really nice honest rare book.
